Next @ Pathway
At Pathway, we recognize that all of us are on a lifelong spiritual journey, and we know that each of us has a next step to take on our individual journey. Knowing this, we offer many different resources to help you take your next step.
God intends for us to share life together. The Bible calls this fellowship, and it’s in fellowship that people grow in their relationship with Christ and each other.
Meet the Pastors
If you are new to Pathway or would like to know more about us, we invite you to attend our next Meet the Pastor.
This casual gathering is a great opportunity to be introduced to our pastors and members of the staff. You will learn about Pathway’s history, mission and values as well as how they are lived out through our ministries.
The most valuable earthly possession a person can have is a warm, supportive friendship. People without relationships are miserable people, but relationships cannot be purchased. They arise from our innermost needs, grounded in our God-given ability to love and care for others. A growing, healthy church nurtures healthy relationships. The ministry to which a person is called when he or she becomes a member of the hospitality team will include organizing a system for visitor hospitality which will provide follow-up for their needs as appropriate. This may include providing a Sunday meal. The Hospitality Team is the social planning ministry of Pathway. They coordinate special functions, meals and trips to build into the community of the church.
Sometimes the word “membership” sounds institutional and is perceived as an obligation, not a joyful act of worship. Being a team member is a voluntary way of saying, “I accept the vision of Pathway, love the people who go here, and want to be a partner in the risks and rewards of Pathway.”
Weekly studies focusing on the essentials of who God is and how He works in our lives. This study exposes attendees to the God-head as well as helps everyone to develop relationships within the group.
Trusting Jesus Christ for salvation is the most important decision a person could ever make. When someone is “born-again”, they become a new creation and, in a spiritual sense, they are like a newborn baby. Infants need to be fed, cared for and nurtured as they mature and grow into healthy adults. This principle applies to both the development of newborn babies and newborn believers in Christ.
Healthy things ought to grow, and we want to assist you in your pursuit of spiritual growth. Here are some suggestions that will help you cultivate a deeper relationship with God.
Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. Acts 2:41 (NIV)
Baptism symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and is your public declaration that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Baptism does not save you, but shows the world that you have already been saved. And while baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.
Starting Point is a “test drive” of small groups where through a 6-week study you can investigate Christianity, ask questions and experience a life group setting. It is for you if you are new or reengaging the Biblical understanding of Christianity.
We believe that Life Groups (small groups) provide the ideal setting for growing in relationship with Christ and each other, for serving/caring for one another, for reaching out to our community and for prayer and praise.
A Life Group is a group of 6-12 people who gather regularly in homes, or in the community for the purpose of fulfilling our God-given life purposes.
Since God wired us for community, we desire for everyone who attends Pathway be a part of a smaller community where they know and are known by a few others. So, we offer a variety of groups – couples, mixed, women, men, singles and young adults.
At Pathway Community Church, we want to be known as a community who gives their lives away to serve others.
Serving others isn't a program, it's a lifestyle. Whether in small groups, on the hospitality teams, in service projects in the city, or in our homes and jobs, we seek to be the kind of people who display the love of God through acts of service.
At Pathway, there are tons of opportunities to serve, both within our community (kids, students, small groups, hospitality, etc.) or outside our community (outreach, missions, etc.). Take a look around the website and explore the ways you might want to join us in serving.
Service & Outreach Projects
The Missions and Community Outreach Team's vision is follow the Great Commission by sharing the gospel to our family, friends, classmates, coworkers, to the Pembina Valley, and to the ends of the earth. This Ministry organizes several events throughout the year to raise awareness of God's heart for those in need, and to train and equip Christians to share the Gospel with boldness and love. They also look for opportunities in our region for our congregation to actively serve in.
Our desire is to be God's hands and feet in the Pembina Valley. We want to serve others, no strings attached. We don't force the people we serve to come to our church, believe in God or even like us! This ministry organizes events throughout the year to show love to the people around us, whether it's raking leaves, delivering food and Christmas hampers, or bringing gifts of appreciation to the unappreciated.
It's the Hebrew word for vision, and it's what God had in mind for you when you were created. Each of us is a masterpiece, placed on earth for a unique purpose that's solely ours to fulfill. Come uncover God's dream for your life - your CHAZOWN.
At Pathway we understand that living out our faith opens us up to seeing more of who God is in our lives and in our world. As we share our faith with others we gain a deeper appreciation as well as deeper understanding of the richness of Jesus Christ in our lives.
“I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.” Philemon 1:6

Lead Like Jesus
Whether you are a parent, a CEO, a pastor, a teacher, an accountant, or a shopkeeper, you are a leader – and you influence in some way the thinking, behavior, or development of others. Learning from Jesus, the greatest leadership model ever, only makes sense. Our desire is to lead like Jesus did: to demonstrate God’s love for people while helping them change the way they live, love and lead.
How To Give Your Faith Away
This course is for Christians who want to learn how to become more effective witnesses for Christ. The study questions are very good for assimilating the material more deeply in our minds. Ultimately, one learns to witness by actually doing it. But with this course, any Christian would be much better equipped to witness than without it.
